FW Delta is the company of Fabian Weiss. We build tracking and custom software for companies in the German-speaking market and hand over everything you need to keep running at the end: source code, documentation, access. Architecture, quality and handover sit with one person, specialised developers join for the implementation depending on the project.

Why FW Delta exists
The dependency is the actual product.
Renting core systems is convenient, right up to the moment it is not. You pay for features you never use, wait on roadmaps for the ones you need and your data sits spread across a dozen systems. Every renewal is a price negotiation you cannot win.
We build the opposite direction: production-ready systems on infrastructure you control, handed over with the complete source code. The decisive difference is not the price but who owns the system in the end and whether your team can run it without us.
That reaches the balance sheet: subscription fees are operating expenses, owned software can be capitalised as an asset depending on the standard (IAS 38), which is a question for your accountants. Whether it pays off for you is what the calculator shows with your numbers.
If you cannot teach a system, you have not understood it. That is why every project ends with source code, documentation and a walkthrough, not with a login and an invoice.

Ownership creates control
Renting core infrastructure hands the vendor control over your own edge. We build systems the company owns and that someone who was not around today can still maintain in three years.

Simplicity multiplies
Software grows into bloatware over time. Only reduction helps: delete unnecessary code, remove middleware, build direct connections. Performance and maintainability come from simplicity, not complexity.

Engineering first, never upsell
We do not optimise for retainer terms but for the result you hire us for. If something does not pay off or a finished product fits better, we say so beforehand.
Who is behind it

Fabian Weiss builds systems for companies that do not just use their technical infrastructure but want to understand, control and carry it forward themselves. Tracking has to be right, data has to be unambiguous, interfaces have to run reliably and a system has to stay maintainable when the person who built it is no longer in the room.
He has carried technical responsibility where systems have to work in live operation: as Interim CTO of a Swiss B2B marketing and consulting firm and before that in IT and customer operations at a premium car manufacturer.
Alongside that he teaches at universities and training providers at the intersection of artificial intelligence, marketing, e-commerce, automation and IT. The standard is the same as in a project: explain complex matters so that others can work with them.

What we work with
Mainstream stack, own servers.
The argument is the work, not the self-description: readable code, an architecture that makes decisions traceable and tools your team can find on the market.
Instead of reselling cloud services with a markup, the infrastructure runs on Hetzner servers in data centres certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022, with data held in Germany. That decides data sovereignty, latency and running cost at the same time.
On top comes the engineering background beyond the everyday stack: distributed architectures, high-concurrency design, low-level SDKs in C++, network protocols and memory management. The kind of work that decides whether a system holds up under real load.
