Cookie Policy
Without your consent, FW Delta sets only two strictly necessary cookies on its public website: one for your language choice, one for your decision in the cookie banner. Reach measurement runs cookieless on our own infrastructure. The only thing that sets further cookies is the conversion measurement for Google Ads and that only runs if you agree in the banner. This page lists what is actually stored on your device, why and for how long.
What is strictly necessary rests on § 25(2) TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act). Everything else we ask about first: on your first visit you decide in the banner whether Google may measure the success of our ads. "Essential only" is just as much a single click as "Accept all". You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the page.
02. Why We Use Cookies
We use cookies for several important purposes:
Essential Website Functionality
On the public website that is the language choice, in the client portal the sign-in. The site needs nothing more.
Security & Fraud Prevention
We protect our forms without cookies, with a signed timestamp inside the form itself. There is no security cookie.
Remember Your Preferences
Store a setting so you do not have to make it again on every visit. For us that is the language choice and your decision in the cookie banner.
Understand Website Usage
We measure reach without cookies. No information is stored on or read from your device for this purpose (see section 5).
05. Reach Measurement on Our Own Infrastructure
Cookieless by Design
To understand how our website is used, we operate our own reach measurement on our own infrastructure in Germany. It works without cookies: no identifiers are stored on your device and none are read from it for this purpose.
The data collected in this way is not passed on to third parties and is not used to build profiles across devices or across websites.
What this means in practice:
Self-Hosted
The measurement script and the resulting data stay on infrastructure we control. Hosting is provided by Hetzner Online GmbH in data centres in Germany (Falkenstein, Nuremberg).
No Measurement Cookies
No cookies are set for reach measurement and no identifiers are placed on your device. Without consent, the language cookie and the cookie holding your banner decision from section 4 are the only ones on the public website.
Pseudonymised Processing
To distinguish visits, an identifier is derived server-side from technical details such as IP address and user agent and then hashed. That happens on our server, not on your device. Hashing is pseudonymisation, not anonymisation: the processing remains subject to the GDPR.
No Sharing, No Profiles
Measurement data is not forwarded to advertising networks or analytics providers and no cross-device profiles are created.
06. Legal Basis for Cookie Use
Our use of cookies follows the GDPR, the ePrivacy Directive and the German TDDDG:
Strictly Necessary Cookies
Legal Basis: § 25(2) TDDDG for storing and accessing the information, in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for the subsequent processing of the data
The language cookie, the cookie holding your banner decision and the client-portal session token are strictly necessary to provide the service you have expressly requested, which is why § 25(2) TDDDG does not require consent for them. Two levels have to be kept apart here: § 25 TDDDG governs access to your device, the GDPR governs the subsequent processing of the data.
Consent-requiring: Google Ads conversion measurement
Legal Basis: § 25(1) TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR
Any storing of or access to information on your device that is not strictly necessary requires prior, explicit, informed and freely given consent. That is why our website only loads the Google script after you have agreed in the banner. Declining is just as easy as agreeing. Consent is valid for twelve months, after which we ask again. You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the page; the Google cookies are then deleted immediately.
07. Cookie Retention Periods
Without consent there are three entries with a retention period, with consent the Google cookies are added:
fwd-lang, language choice
12 months
Renewed on each visit. If you delete it, the language is derived from your browser settings again.
fwd_consent, your cookie decision
12 months
After that we ask again. Set anew whenever you change your decision.
_gcl_* and fwd_klick, Google Ads
90 days
Only after consent. On withdrawal we delete them immediately, otherwise they expire after 90 days.
pocketbase_auth and pb_auth, portal sign-in
until sign-out
Only after signing in to the client portal, in local storage and as a cookie. Both are removed when you sign out.
Reach measurement stores nothing on your device, so no retention period applies to it. You can delete all entries at any time through your browser (see section 9).
08. Your Choices
Your consent for Google Ads is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time. Here is what you can do:
Change or withdraw consent
Via (also at the bottom of the page) you switch Google Ads on or off. On withdrawal we delete the Google cookies and our copy of the click identifier immediately. You can additionally delete or block all cookies in your browser, see the next section.

What happens if you block everything?
Public website: everything stays usable. Without the language cookie, the language is derived from your browser settings on every visit, without fwd_consent the banner appears again on every visit.
Client portal: without local storage there is no way to sign in, because the session would be lost on every page change.

Important Note
If you use multiple browsers or devices, you'll need to set your cookie preferences separately for each. Most browsers also offer "Do Not Track" settings and private/incognito modes that can affect cookie behavior.
10. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, cookies used, or legal requirements.

Material changes will be communicated through a clear notice on the website. If anything consent-requiring is added, the banner asks again, an earlier consent does not cover it.
